1929 38 ft Elco Tri-Cabin Cruiser
Purchased in 1972 - launched in 1977. Restored by the owners
who have maintained her for 33 years.
Powered by a Lehman Ford 125 h.p. diesel engine.
Original dinghy "Princess" and Elco motor
included.
Her name is "Queenie" after the "African Queen," and we
were called Katherine and Humphrey while restoring her.
She has 2 heads, private Captain's quarters & Crew's quarters.
Sleeps 6. Main salon boasts an antique love seat, antique tea table with wicker
chairs and a parquet floor. The galley is equipped with a propane stove, ice
box converted to refrigerator, and a hanging closet with a door that unfolds
into a dining table.
The
Captain's quarters has a full-size dresser with beds on either side. The beds
are covered with crocheted bedspreads. Also a shower and a Franklin Delano
Roosevelt clock. All of this is included for $125,000. or best offer.
"Queenie" is the sister ship to Charles Lindberg's honeymoon vessel
of years past.
