Project condition. I found this cutie hanging in the rafters of a plumbing supply warehouse, where it had been hidden away for 20 years. The engine was also stored in the warehouse. I set it in the boat, but did not hook it up. Mahogany decks on a cold-molded hull. Bronze hardware. The original 4 cylinder Gray Marine engine turns over. The spacious cutty has lots of room for ropes, fenders, life jackets, etc. Mitch used this as one of his personal boats for the summer of 2006. New lower price on this easy project antique boat. Needs several coats of varnish. Serviceable upholstery. The 327 V8 is in the boat, but needs to be hooked up. This one-owner boat has been hanging in the same boathouse since new. Due to these ideal conditions, the bottom appears to be sound. Bottom was fiberglassed when new, then about ten years ago the old fiberglass was replaced with fresh material. Excellent condition with new bottom and decks. Chris-Craft went all-out on this post-war model, and it is one of my personal favorites. Note the stylish transom lines which include a "tumblehome" or slope and a curvature at the spray rail. Also note the fancy folding windshield. The seats are a bit wider than other models, giving you more elbow room when seating 3 across. Nice new red upholstery, restored instruments, rechromed deck hardware and restored steering wheel. Repowered with an OMC 350 V8. Custom trailer included. Chris-Craft built 366 of this very beautiful model from 1946 to 1949. (18g)

 You will look good cruising along in this popular classic in excellent restored condition. Chris Craft "MBL" engine, red leather interior, new chrome, newer tandem-axle trailer. Chris-Craft built 366 of this fairly rare model from 1946 to 1949. It was the last of the vintage runabouts to be offered with double hatches over the engine compartment, leather seats and a "V" fold-down windshield. Has been in storage for about 15 years. Twin "KL" engines, new tandem axle trailer, all hardware included. Previous owner replaced 3/4 of both right and left chines, starting at the back of the boat. He also replaced all of the transom frames, both vertical and horizontal. The varnish has been stripped from some of the wood in the cabin.
